Election Day

Gentlemen start your engines.

This phrase came to mind yesterday morning as Americans headed to the polls. At the beginning of the race there are favorites, but there is still a race to run. And until it is over you cannot be sure of the outcome. But much like the Indy 500 or the Daytona 500 after the race is over, there are congratulations and speeches and a return to the daily routine.

When you look at history no matter how big the changes in Washington, DC the changes for ordinary Americans are incremental. Small adjustments that do not change the vast majority's day to day living are usually the result. One of the great advantages of our great country we live in is our ability to control our own destiny. No matter if your candidate won or lost, tomorrow you can go out and start laying the foundation for the next election. You can adjust your decisions and lifestyle to minimize the impact of any changes that may occur.

At the end of the day we stress the importance of having a plan, reviewing and adjusting the plan and taking action. Constant and never ending improvements that lead to the life you choose.

Whether you are at the beginning of developing your first budget and planning to save your first dollar, or you have a nest egg you want to make sure is there for you and your heirs lifetime we stand ready to be your partner. As we write this we have no idea who the winners in this year's election will be, nor do we put much energy is worrying about it. Our energies will go into making sure your future is secure. If you have concerns, reach out. If you want reassurance, reach out. We are here to answer the call.

God bless you, and God bless the United States of America.
